Jeff worked on my house for a few weeks. The work involved painting all interior of 3,000 square ft. house which included 4 bedrooms, crown molding, 2 bathrooms, entrance way and halls & stairs. Also power washed front porch and painted railings, posts & ceiling. Also front door & outdoor shutters. He works in a professional manner with important attention to detail, takes care of furniture and floors, and is very neat. No paint anywhere but on walls. There was a great amount of detail work which he took care of. It is usually very difficult to paint inside of entire house while living there, but he actually works with owners and made the experience not difficult. I rate his work as outstanding and am receiving lots of favorable comments from my friends. If you want a professional job done with fair pricing, and no problems, I highly recommend Jeff Miller.

Honestly I didn't know what to expect from this company. The owner, Mike, explained that while he was new to Thumbtack; he was willing and ready to work hard in order to gain a reputation of greatness. My wife claims I'm difficult to please and you'd probably hear the same from my friends/family.... Mike and Kelvin produced fantastic results. They painted almost every room in my house. Built in the 80's, my house had a few rooms with popcorn ceilings. Our master, living room and the office were updated 8 or 9 years ago. The rest still had that pesky popcorn stuff on the ceilings. They moved the furniture out, scraped, repaired and sprayed my ceilings. Wonderful results. I'm amazed honestly. You would never guess that the ceilings were once covered in that unsightly popcorn stuff. I also had them paint the walls and trim throughout the house. Mike suggested a few accent walls for eye-catching contrast. What a difference! He used Sherwin Williams Cashmere and even though I purchased the paint, he let me use his account and I couldn't believe the quality for the price. While they were painting, Mike noticed some of the trim around my doors had damage from our dog chewing on it. He offered to replace it and while I was hesitant; he convinced me to do it and I couldn't be happier. My house hasn't looked this good in 20 years. This company is outstanding. I would recommend Harrison Total Home Care to anyone.

AAA contractors replaced our roof, front door, painted our house inside and other small items. They did an excellent on and cleaned up after themselves. Very courteous and professional. Went the extra mile.

Lise-Lotte and Robert are some of the kindest, most thoughtful people you will ever meet! They went completely out of their way to make sure my home was cleaned when I needed it, which was pretty much immediately. They did a deep cleaning that removed the smell of pets from our new home. It felt like I was having old friends over. They are very comfortable to be around and very thorough in their cleaning (Q-tips and all!). I will use them again and recommend them to others. Thanks so much for everything!!

I was very pleased with the work! He removed some wood rot from my door, patched, sanded, and painted. Looks like new! We will hire him again in the future for any other jobs! Highly recommend!

Excellent work!! Tammy was great. She arrived on time and did an amazing job of cleaning my house. I have pets so my house gets dirty quickly and is harder to clean than some houses. I also loved that she loves animals and my animals loved her. She was delightful and I will definitely use her again.

Lowcountry Home Works Our daughter had rented out her North Charleston, SC home for the past 6 years and recently decided to sell it. My wife and I went to North Charleston on January 3, 2016 to arrange for painting and cleaning of the home. Having no knowledge of area painting or home cleaning companies, we used Porch.com and Google to identify 6 painting companies and had their representatives inspect the home and provide estimates on 4 and 5 January. We selected Kenneth Childs (KC) and his company, Lowcountry Home Works. They did not submit the lowest bid, but we were influenced by KC’s attitude and professionalism. He spoke of the details involved and flexibility in working with us. All of our expectations were more than met. Before he started, we decided to expand the work to include painting the ceiling, an increase that he readily met. Lowcountry was meticulous in preparing to paint. All windows were taped, interior doors removed, electric plates either covered or removed, lighting fixtures/fans removed or covered and wood floors covered. The vaulted ceilings on the main floor made this a difficult task. The “popcorned” ceilings were damaged in several areas. KC was able to repair the ceilings so that the repairs blended in perfectly. Painting the ceilings greatly increased the brightness of all of the rooms. KC used only the best grade of Sherwin Williams paint. We used a beige paint on all walls. Though some walls had previously been painted dark, the Sherwin Williams paint covered beautifully. Lowcountry was extremely detailed in “cutting in” around baseboards, and window and door frames. The quality of the work was also noted by the listing real estate agent. KC adapted to our rapidly changing requirements. Several days after Lowcountry started, we decided to install new carpets throughout the upstairs and wanted to install them during the time Lowcountry was still painting. KC immediately adjusted his work plan to complete painting upstairs before carpet installation and to provide unimpeded access to the carpet area during installation. We asked KC if he knew of a cleaning team which could do a final cleaning of the house. To our pleasure, KC said Lowcountry also cleaned homes. This provided us a seamless transition from painting to cleaning and ultimately to listing the house. My wife and I worked adjacent to KC as we refinished cabinets, cleaned appliances and replaced toilets and light fixtures. He recommended a variety of stores where we able to get replacement fixtures at very favorable prices. During our time working with KC we developed a high regard for his character, his managerial skill and his adeptness in supervising the work being done. My wife and I had to return home before some replacement doors arrived and before I had completed the work I had planned to do. We left North Charleston completely confident that the final work would be completed in a timely and professional manner. After leaving, we have had to ask KC to do a number of additional tasks which we had not been able to complete. Lowcountry has enthusiastically done everything we have asked. I strongly endorse Lowcountry Home Works for their professionalism, responsiveness and ability to adapt to circumstances.

Tom is great! I bought a house just over a year ago. He has basically redone my house. He has always been friendly, on-time, cost conscious with materials, and has competitive prices for a professional of his experience. I have always felt safe around him and am comfortable with him in my house even if I can't be there. I would recommend him to anyone! If you are interested in the work he has done for me, see below. Electrical: all fixtures, replaced all outlets and switches, installed additional outlets and cable jacks, rerouted switches, garage door opener. Walls/Ceilings: scraped popcorn and refinished ceilings, major wallpaper removal, repaired holes (big) in walls and ceiling, retaped and finished broken seams, fresh paint throughout (the best painting I have ever seen). Flooring: removed carpet, installed hardwoods, installed travertine tile, repaired subfloor water damage. Plumbing: replaced various water lines, replaced broken water heater, installed new toilets. Misc: removed all old appliances and installed new appliances including a built in microwave, repaired rotted wood on exterior trim, painted exterior door/trim, pressure washed driveway, trimmed tree limbs back from house, installed new towel bars/tp holders, removed plate mirrors and installed medicine cabinets, refinished some cabinets, changed all the cabinet hardware, replaced all door hinges and knobs. Just too many little miscellaneous things to mention!
