- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every shoot is customizable. I try to be fair and over deliver for partners/clients so I charge by amount of content instead of a flat day or hourly rate. I am willing to work with several budgets although I have to be mindful of my own financial responsibilities in life. Again, I would do this for free if it paid my mortgage...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I spend as much time as the client will allow getting to know them on the phone and corresponding via email. I want to deeply understand what they visualize so I can begin with the end in mind. I want to exceed their expectations, and put a smile on their faces.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took photography courses in the late nineties and have grown up with a camera in my hand since the age of 11. I have professionally shot full time since the fall of 2014 and have published work appearing in several publications (print and digital) including Wine & Spirits Magazine, Music Magazine, StoneFly Magazine, and have work inside of a CD insert for the legendary jazz band Medeski Martin & Wood.
