Have you ever walked in a place and became speechless? That's what happened when I walked in the four bedroom, three bathroom house I planned to move to. The deck was covered in dirt and cobwebs, as if no one had lived there in a few years. Inside, every room, closet, and cupboard was filled with trash and cockroaches. What had been carpet and hardwood floor had become a resting place for stickers and unknown goo. This is what the place looked like AFTER the previous resident moved out. We spent a day removing junk from the kitchen and cleaning it to a better state than "devastating", but that night, we decided that we needed help to make the place livable before we ran out of motel funds.
After consulting about the disaster and negotiating prices, their team set up a time for the very next morning to come over and work. "If they are willing to come out on short notice to work on a holiday, they must be hard workers," I thought. At precisely 7am, a van and trailer pulled into the driveway. I could see their eyes get big when they saw the mess, but unlike me, they did not cry. Instead, they got busy. I felt comfortable leaving Lyubo free reign to my house while I left for work. I didn't know how much the two of them could get done before I returned because it had taken me all day to make a dent in the kitchen. It speaks volumes to their diligence when I came back to find the house cleared of debris, the fans and blinds no longer coated in dust, the floors were nothing but floors again, the carpets were just drying from their intense steam cleaning, the yard was not a jungle, the bathrooms were shining and the oven, oh the oven was not a fire hazard anymore. "I cleaned this FOUR times," Lyubo indicated the oven. I believe her! And the hard work showed! How had two people accomplished all of this in 12 hours? It would have taken us weeks at least, and we consider ourselves to be hard workers. For the second time that week, this house made me speechless. At least it was joy and not devastation this time.
The dump was closed because it was a holiday, but the first business day following, they were back again at 7am sharp as agreed to haul away all of the trash and do a little exterior cleaning just to try to make the place get back to its potential. I'm so proud of this house now and I'm so grateful for these two. They are prompt, hard working, trust-worthy and have great personalities. The quality of work they do is no less than outstanding. My place was a large pigsty, unless yours is too, it will not take Lyubo very long to detail your house. If she has sent you a quote, take it. Call her immediately. There is no one else to consider. She answers her phone, is fair in pricing, shows up on time, cleans like it's her own home, and is definitely worth your while.
