- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my prices in line with the area averages. Since a lot of my work is custom built the prices vary a lot based on styles, material, and deminsions. However all my estimates are free and will not go up after agreed upon, unless the customer wants something added or changed in a way that is outside the original estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know them and find out exactly what they are looking for. Some customers have a plan in mind and others want some guidance. Before I start a project I try to make sure the the outcome will be exactly what the customer wants. Not what's easiest for me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25 years in the trade. Framing houses. Building decks, porches, patios, and all things in between.
