With a move and impending major work deadline, Kim made a very stressful time so much less so. Our initial consultation was a great feature that I strongly suggest. It was nice being able to talk about our needs and timeline. We were moving from a large house (out of state) back to Columbia. I was dreading the 'unpack' especially the kitchen. Knowing that there was someone who would unpack our kitchen and set up in new apartment was a God-send. Kim also did an amazing job re-packing those items we wouldn't need for safe keeping in our storage unit. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?ORGANIZING Initial Assessment visit and action plan = $50 On-site services = $50/hour for first 10 hours, then $45/hour there on. STYLING/INTERIOR DESIGN Projects are individually priced.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We start with an assessment visit so that the client and I can meet and I can see the space. During this meeting we discuss the client's goals and needs for improvement. I then provide a written action plan and a proposal for hands-on on-site work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been an organizing junkie forever!! I think I learned as a teacher - then as an HR professional - that everything needs to be in its place or else the stress isn't worth the mess. I also use those teaching and HR skills to coach my clients to change routines in order to maintain their newfound organization.
