Resolve Home Organizing & Styling provides professional services backed by years of experience and loads of compassion and creativity. We work with clients to declutter and organize their homes while helping them put new systems in place and practice new routines to stay organized. We believe your home should WORK for you in its both its function and its comfort. We also provide packing, moving coordination, unpacking, staging, and styling/interior decorating services.
PLEASE NOTE:
*We are typically booked several weeks out but do our best to fit in quick packing/unpacking projects as needed.
*Please do not expect the Thumbtack calendar to be accurate.
*We rarely do urgent one-day projects.
*We require an in-person consultation before all projects to determine fit and provide an estimate. The consultation fee is $50.

A year ago, I was thrown for a loop when I was informed my lease would not be renewed. I was given a month to vacate. Not because I didn't make enough. I made just over the income required to meet a HUD loan recently acquired by the property. My apartment was in their crosshairs. I'm a senior. I work full time. In retail. It was the Christmas season. I live alone. I had no choice other than to hire someone to pack me up. I found ReSolve on Thumbtack. After talking with the owner, Kim, I had her over for an estimate. She and her team of women did more than pack me up, they provided much needed relief, laughter and therapy. I continued to contact Kim when I needed help setting up my analogue stereo system and, eventually, hanging curtains. I can't recommend them highly enough.

With a move and impending major work deadline, Kim made a very stressful time so much less so. Our initial consultation was a great feature that I strongly suggest. It was nice being able to talk about our needs and timeline. We were moving from a large house (out of state) back to Columbia. I was dreading the 'unpack' especially the kitchen. Knowing that there was someone who would unpack our kitchen and set up in new apartment was a God-send. Kim also did an amazing job re-packing those items we wouldn't need for safe keeping in our storage unit. I highly recommend using ReSolve HomeOrganizing & Styling!

Working with Kim to set up my home office was professional, creative and quick. Kim was able to help me see my vision and implement it in a timely manner. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
ORGANIZING
Consultation and action plan = $50
On-site services = $50/hour for first 10 hours, then $45/hour there on.
STYLING/INTERIOR DESIGN
Projects are individually priced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an assessment visit so that the client and I can meet and I can see the space. During this meeting we discuss the client's goals and needs for improvement. I then provide a written action plan and a proposal for hands-on on-site work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an organizing junkie forever!! I think I learned as a teacher - then as an HR professional - that everything needs to be in its place or else the stress isn't worth the mess. I also use those teaching and HR skills to coach my clients to change routines in order to maintain their newfound organization.
