There are no stupid questions! Therefore ask about what you don't understand. Open communication is key to the success of the project. Also the provider you hire should be hired because you trust their work and expertise.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is important for clients to understand pricing is based on the scope of their project. Often a client's vision can exceed their financial reach and it's both the professional and the client's responsibility to shape the scope of the project to the available budget. I trust that we all understand that adequate compensation for our work is a must, and although I'm speaking solely for LightHEAD, I'm willing to bet the following statement to be true for 99% of the creative professionals in the world; We do this because we love designing solutions, not billing you for extra hours.
