What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every day, striving to be the best in my field. Innovating, stretching what is possible and pushing forward to do things my competition has not thought of yet.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for real estate video/photography can be a little confusing because I have 4 tiers set up by square footage & plan selected. I created a grid so you can easily see it visually at http://www.avtmarketing.com/pricing/pricing-home/
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to sell real estate. I was a REALTOR from 2005-2010. I know the industry, I did my own photography and video for my own listings. I built my own websites which ranked on page 1 on Google and Yahoo. I was using video back when YouTube was only 240p and you had to pay a service to actually stream better quality video footage. I was the only one doing real estate video in 2006 because the cost was so high to host videos. Other agents started asking me to do video and photos for them. Now it's 2015 and I have the best clients in the city!
What types of customers have you worked with?
* Website design and development
* Marketing Videos
* Real Estate and Product Photography
* Aerial Video and Photography
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Just finished a website for 2 local artists: http://www.chelseaandsavannah.com. They've told me that they love their site and they are very excited about the functionality of the site (especially the calendar) that gives their customers the opportunity to sign up for classes and pay in advance.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check their references. Ask to see samples of their work. If you are buying website or social media consulting services, check them out! Are they using these tools to promote themselves well? If not, how can they be trusted to market your business?
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
For video: Editing time after the shoot takes longer than the shoot itself. Be sure to ask your potential provider how long editing will take, and whether or not you will be able to make changes to it.
