I am my own biggest critic. Im never content with my skill level. This forces me to constantly hunt and search for ways to better my craft. This causes me to innovate. I was using Steadicam technology in 2006. I was the only one in Charlotte shooting real estate video this way. Now, in 2015, my competition has figured it out. I was learning how to fly drones (for the purpose of aerial video and photography) in 2011 when you had to build the drone from scratch, program the drone, and flying was extremely difficult. I practiced for years (alone) in an empty field and always flew safely. Now you can buy one off the shelf and everyone is "a professional" on their first day. Things I am working on right now will be the norm in 3 years. But I will be offering it sooner than my competition because I am an innovator, and not a follower. Every day is a new challenge. New shoots, new websites. It's always fun because it's always evolving.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every day, striving to be the best in my field. Innovating, stretching what is possible and pushing forward to do things my competition has not thought of yet.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to sell real estate. I was a REALTOR from 2005-2010. I know the industry, I did my own photography and video for my own listings. I built my own websites which ranked on page 1 on Google and Yahoo. I was using video back when YouTube was only 240p and you had to pay a service to actually stream better quality video footage. I was the only one doing real estate video in 2006 because the cost was so high to host videos. Other agents started asking me to do video and photos for them. Now it's 2015 and I have the best clients in the city!
