And if you're quite particular about how you like your laundry done, it may feel like one task you can't off-load on someone else. But that's why I started Local Laundry Lady. I'm a little Type A myself, and I wanted to provide a more personalized option than just the typical “wash and fold” for people who need help but have more complicated orders—think detergent preferences, delicate clothing washed in mesh bags, items requiring handwashing, air drying certain fabrics, etc. From stain-treating kids' clothes, handwashing delicate items, air drying athletic gear, or ironing button-downs, I'm here to do it your way. For those who couldn't care less about how their laundry is done as long as it is returned clean, I'd love to exceed your expectations, too.
