FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On average, I attend two major workshops per year to keep up with latest product development and to learn techniques from more seasoned, reputable artists in the industry. I am also looking to expand my esthetic services to offer more lash services by year's end.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been artisticâ¦crayons and paper would keep me occupied for hours as a child. Though I went the traditional route by earning a college degree and even pursuing a Master's degree, I always felt I should be "creating" more and expressing my artistic side. While working as an early childhood educator, I became a licensed esthetician and self-taught makeup artist, and found that creative outlet.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clientele is for weddings, pageants and special occasions. I've also done makeup for runway and photo shoots. I also offer facial waxing in salon, and makeup tutorials that I call my Beauty Boot Camp.
