FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's very important to talk with the customer to learn about their animals. Each one is an individual and is treated that way depending on the animal's needs. I am constantly upgrading my skills with research and discovery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from college with a degree in Life Sciences, including courses in animal husbandry, wildlife biology, the psychology of animal behavior, and many more. I have volunteered with the humane society, Greenville zoo, animal rehab groups, and am a member of numerous animal right's groups. I have assisted in the birth of many animals and humans :) I have also been called on to help with senior animals because of my attention to their specific needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At an early age, I was interested in becoming a veterinarian and later on realized that I wasn't interested in surgery etc that went on with the profession. I was more interested in the love and care of reptiles, birds, and mammals. I have raised so many different animals...from alligators to a wallaby (no zebras).
