Introduction: For over a decade, I have taught Spanish to students of all ages and levels. I help students accomplish their goals, be it learning conversational Spanish or helping students pass classes and prepare for exams.
I am an experienced high school teacher, a college professor as well as a private Spanish tutor open to accepting new clients. I can work online or onsite with my clients.

Dr. Eastman was a fantastic professor when I was a student at Coastal Carolina University. She takes the time to help all of her students and is very good at explaining all aspects of learning a foreign language. I thought so highly of her I took two classes of hers and she really helped with with conjugation, dictation, and how to use the diffeent forms of verbs in the spanish language. I would highly reccomend Dr. Eastman for any aspect of teaching/tutoring for Spanish.

I worked with Jennifer for several years in the Department of World Languages. I saw how much she cared about her students and how devoted she was to their learning. I often had her former students and they were always well prepared and had a solid foundation from her class. I never heard students say anything but good things about her and never heard any students that were displeased with her class. Many wanted to take her class for the second level, but classes were often full. Besides her teaching skills, her Spanish is also excellent and she has a great understanding of how languages work. You won't be disappointed with her!

Dr. Karash-Eastman is extremely knowledgable but also intuitive enough about her students' level of understanding to effectively communicate even the most basic of language skills. She never makes it seem as though you should be learning faster or at a higher level of comprehension. She expertly guides you through any stumbling blocks or areas of difficulty by making the material easy to grasp and memorable. You really LEARN the language with Dr. Karash-Eastman, and it stays with you well beyond the next exam or final grade.

Brenda Wood as a student I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Karash-Eastman as my Spanish 1 professor. She made the subject interesting and easier to learn than I thought possible. I had dreaded the course, but it was part of my core and had to be taken. I truly enjoyed the class and I came away with a better understanding of the language and the people because of her instruction and teaching abilities. She is an outstanding teacher and I would recommend her highly as a Spanish teacher.
