Introduction: Dave Tally is an award-winning photographer and cinematographer with a visionary career that began in Japan as a freelance editorial photographer for the Japanese Travel Bureau, matured in Dallas TX with a studio spanning nearly 8000 square feet, and now settling in the Carolinas where he was born with a modest 2800-square-foot New York style studio where he continues with his photography and workshops. His professional background reflects a wide range of experiences and achievements with over 25 years of coupling his ideas with the ideas of art directors through his photography. His creative vision helps bring visual impact to stories. His desire to dig out the best possible image requires communication, brain storming, and input from everyone on the creative team, from the art director to the stylist. Dave Tally offers a very strong background in lighting, an excellent eye for composition and detail, and a knack for devising “creative solutions to technical opportunities." Dave Tally's professionalism and experience insures that everyone leaves his projects with a smile and a sense of accomplishment.
