- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $80 for virus removal and $100 to reinstall Windows. For other issues I charge $80/hr plus whatever the cost of replacement parts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get as much information as possible about what a customer needs to have done so I can give the best estimate possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started fixing computers for friends and family members and the someone asked me how much I would charge them. That's when I realized that I could make it a business. For 11 years it was just a side business. Since May of 2015 I have been doing it full time.
