- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge on a sliding scale $25 - $45 per session, whatever my client is able to pay and comfortable with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with clients and have them fill out an intake form so that I can gather some information about their current wellbeing, health history, and better understand how I may help them. After reviewing this, we set a mutual intention for the session. This is my focus for our time together and I base the techniques that I use on that intention. Sessions are done on a massage table and typically last 45 minutes - 1 hour. Following the session, we usually discuss areas in the client's field that I find to be compromised, how this may relate to life circumstances, and how positive change and growth can occur.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been interested in doing this type of work since I was in my teens. I read a lot about energy work and healing and these readings resonated with experiences and sensations that I had growing up. I feel that I have always tended to attract people that are looking for support and healing, and I feel a great sense of purpose in providing this! Nursing was a logical fit for me, but I knew that there was more "out there" and more that I could do to help others, so I started taking classes and working towards certification in Healing Touch.
