Hello, My name is Marilyn Dabney Perry. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counseling. I am a Certified Lay Counselor, Christian Counselor and Life Mastery Coach. I am an ordained Minister and Motivational Speaker. I am a Certified Anger Management Specialist II, credentialed and recognized by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). I have over 10 years of counseling/ coaching experience and 6 years of Motivational Speaking. My desire is to assist as many people possible to turn their dreams into reality.
Whether it's building heathier relationships, starting a business or restoring a marriage. I believe there are 5 components that makes for a successful life, which includes; Physical health, Mental health, Financial health, Emotional health and Spiritual health. Once all of these areas are addressed, you will be able to achieve life mastery and overall SELF care.
I believe that having achieved life mastery in my own personal life and by using techniques and methods I've learned, I can teach others how to do the same. Let me help you tap into your Courageous self!

My partner and I had our first session with Merilyn and we are excited to continue our counseling journey and progress and grow in our relationship. She opens the floor so we can communicate with her on an individual level and together so our points can get across which actually allows us to hear ourselves talk and realize what we need to work on within ourselves to help our relationship.. I felt like i was talking to a friend who wasn't judging or biased. She was a listening ear and gave us good points and addressed the issues that need work and how we may go about working on those issues.

So far o e had 2 personal sessions and 1 couples session, i must say me and my significant other really enjoy her. It’s really nice to find a Christian counselor who has the same values we do. She is very pleasant and welcoming. She is soft spoken and honest. LOL my boyfriend likes her. I say that because he did like the previous one. He feels she is honest and not bias or shows favoritism. We are both looking forward to the amazing experience and knowledge she has to give to us. Me and my boyfriend are praying for a healthier outcome and to further a healthier relationship. I’m also looking forward to getting the healing i need for myself.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual sessions are $80; couples (not married) are $120; married couples are $150; Life Coaching is $120; and Business Start-up Consulting starts at $200. We offer discounts for advance payment for multiple sessions. Please get in touch with us for more details and information about booking Motivational Speaking engagements.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction, sign documents (waivers and consent form), Overview about services Courageous SELFcare Specialists, LLC offers and service/s that are being providing for the new client. You will also go over expectations for both the client and specialist.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling. Certified Lay Counselor, Christian Counselor and Life Mastery Coach. Substance Abuse, Suicide, and Domestic Violence Training. Juvenile Delinquent Youth Offender Mentor. Ordained to Minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
