Ray Moore has been officiating wedding ceremonies since 1991 (and they're still together), We've united dozens of couples this year. With each ceremony, we learn something new that we bring to the next couple. We have done simple elopements, traditional vows, sand ceremonies and even communion! During the rehearsal, the "how's and why's" of ceremony parts are discussed, giving the bridal party a deeper understanding of their roles. This reflects in the actual ceremony and gives an appreciation for the step the bride and groom are taking.
Karen has a strong background in event management, floral design and arranging and budget management. It's been a natural progression to wedding planning and day-of coordinating. We invite you to see just a sampling of her floral designs on our web page. She charges for the cost of the flowers/greenery at wholesale rate and charges $30.00 per hour to design the wedding floral's.
We enjoy assisting those who are looking to the Upstate and Charlotte area as a destination wedding spot. We can help with the ceremony, do light planning or be your "feet on the ground" to coordinate the logistics as much as you need us to.

We had a bit of an emergency as the person we had lined up to do. My daughter‘s wedding was unable to do it. So we were scrambling to find somebody the last two weeks before the wedding and and Ray responded to my request and was very helpful and accommodating for our needs. He did a great job at the ceremony and rehearsal dinner. I’m glad he was at the rehearsal dinner as he pointed out some things that we did not think of. Thanks Ray!

We met Rev ray in December of 2025, and continued to communicate every month for marriage counseling and getting to know eachother more and more . Our wedding was June 13 of this year and he was amazing. Responsive , punctual , and full of knowledge, and full of smiles through our beautiful ceremony! I’m so glad we found Rev ray!

I contacted Rev. Ray Moore and his wife Karen the day before my wedding. My original officiant cancelled on me at the last minute and then I found From this Day Forward Wedding Services. If you need a WeddingOfficiant Reverend Ray is the guy for you! He and Karen (I believe his assistant) were so perfect for the job. Not only did he come out for the ceremony but he also came out to the rehearsal all for one low price compared to the other offers I received. The thing that impressed me the most was that he and Karen were very patient and flexible especially the day of the rehearsal. We were running about an hour behind due to waiting for the bridal party to arrive and it didn't bother him one bit, which made my nervous stay calm. We had our wedding out on the beach, he and Karen were troopers for hanging out in the South Carolina heat too! The day of the ceremony he and Karen were on point. As Reverend Ray performed the ceremony Karen took pictures! I thought that was an awesome bonus! Plus they give you those pictures! Overall Ray and Karen were very professional, on time (actually early during the rehearsal and the ceremony, which was another feature I loved!), great communication and just down right awesome! I would highly recommend Reverend Ray to be your WeddingOfficiant! Oh one last thing that I found super sweet, they gave us a bottle of champagne!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our price includes:
* Unlimited consultations for your perfect ceremony
* Performing the rehearsal (if needed)
* The ceremony
* Filing the marriage license
* A newlywed information packet
* Keepsake ceremony binder
* 15-25 pictures on the service
Basic officiant services begin at $250. Depending on the additional services required or requested, each has a separate price point. We share these costs with the couple and let them choose "ala carte" to create the Day of Their Dreams. Regardless, it's the ceremony that's important.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial phone conversation to outline the scope of services requested helps us to see if we're a good fit for the couple. If that's a go, we plan out the timeline for services and decide how much we'll be doing for the couple. This is typed up and presented with our Service Agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ray entered seminary in 1987 and graduated with a Minister of Spiritual Counseling and Divine Healing license in 1988. After further training at the seminary, Ray taught the Graduate Minister's in Training Program, the Christian Education Teacher's Program and the Bishop's Preceptorial, an ecclesiastical management program. Ray also created the "Ceremonies and Legalities" curriculum for the Minister's Training Program.
