FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, Free Estimates, trip charge is $78.00 What is a trip charge? A trip charge is if you can and wanted me to come out and fix say the broken garage door for example. I get there and find out it was only the breaker for the door opener that was tripped. That would cost you the trip charge. Many jobs that are small I will give a price over the phone. A small 1 hour drywall repair no painting is $90.00 for a good example.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make phone contact and talk a few minutes about the job. I will give a realistic price range that they can expect to spend on there project. If that sound good to then we will set up the first inspection of the project. After the inspection I will send over a detailed estimate that can be used as the contract if it is acceptable to the owner. If the job is one day or less I can just quote the price on the spot. Contract can then follow upon owners request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Starting working with my father soon after high school. Over 30 years on the job. Many code classes and training over the years.
