Stay away!! This place is awful - the owner was rude to me when booking the appointment as a new client, and I was very dissatisfied with my color treatment! My roots looked like they already needed to be colored again!! They offered a "guarantee of satisfaction" but that's useless...I went in days later to show the owner what the other stylist did to my hair and she did NOTHING but tell me how experienced she was and how much money she lost doing the groupon - not my fault...don't offer services if you can't render! I wouldn't go back if they paid me! You have been warned!
Ooh La La Beauty Boutique's reply
I believe that this bad review is unwarranted. No one was rude to this client, she did call 30min before her schedule appointment and said that she couldn't make her appointment, I told her that we would reschedule her to another day but if she did not keep the next appointment she would forfeit her groupon because she didn't give a 24 hour notice. The coupon and our cancellation policy clearly states that you must give 24 hour notice on cancelling or rescheduling appointments. We rescheduled her then a few minutes later she called back and said she really did want to get her hair done that day so she came in at her regular scheduled appointment. NO ONE was rude just stated a policy to her. During her consultation my stylist explained to her that she had purchased a groupon that was for cut and highlights and that if she didn't want to see any roots with the amount of highlights (red and blonde) then she would need to purchase an extra basecolor or basebreak for $20 she did not want to purchase the extra color. She left seemingly happy with her service and I received an email stating that she was not happy, I asked her to come in for me to look at it. When she did come in she stated to me that her roots did not feel cold I simply explained to her that highlights do not touch the scalp that if she wanted scalp coverage then my stylist was right by offering her the add on service. I never said that I lost money with groupons I simply explained that what she was asking for was not part of the groupon price. I told her we would be happy to do a base break like my stylist had offered she then yelled at me! We had other costumers in the salon and I calmly told her that was her options. You must purchase the service for it to be guaranteed. I am truly sorry that she did not have a good experience at my salon or the other 10 salons that she stated that she has been to over the last few years.

I have used this salon for over 3 years now and have never been dissatisfied with any of the work. I have paid more - lots more - and this is by far one of my best experiences! LeAnn is my stylist, however all of them do great work!

Today was my first visit to this salon. My stylist was Chelsea and I was very pleased. We talked about my expectations and where I felt my hair had been poorly cut previously. I will definitely be returning and I have already suggested this salon to my Supervisor. Thanks so much.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking for a new stylist: look around and ask someone that you like their hair where they go. Don't see anyone's hair you like? Look at website and reviews for local salons. Make sure that the pictures you are looking at on website are real clients and not a fake picture.
