FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unless it's something major, quotes or hourly rates include materials like caulk or tape or nuts, bolts, nails and screws. Also, we don't charge any trip fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training has been on the job. Superyacht maintenance is similar to home maintenance except the finish work is more detailed and we generate our own power, desalinate our fresh water and treat our own waste water. It is also the highest level of customer service of any industry so you know you and your home will be treated respectfully.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After a 13 year career on private yachts, my daughter arrived and I needed a way to stay close to home and be a dad everyday. Having worked in commercial construction through high school and college and having always taken care of my own projects and my friend's and family's projects, this was a very comfortable transition.
