Introduction
FFO offers obedience classes and behavioral training and modification. Obedience classes are held in the spring and summer. Each session lasts 4-6 weeks, with classes held once a week. When you complete a session, your dog will be able to: sit, stay, lay down, come, and heel. Behavioral training is an in-home service and is handled on a case-by-case basis. Consultations include Krystal coming to your house, discussing, and teaching you how to handle your dog’s issues. On occasion, if necessary, your dog may need to spend a few days with Krystal in “doggie boot camp” or rehabilitation.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common "problems" I tend to get called for is hyperactivity and shyness. Both problems are easy to address and all problems are 100% correctable as long as I have 100% involvement from the owners.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you understand that a dog is not a tool that you can drop off to get "fixed" and expect 100% improvement without any change on your end. The owners are the biggest part in a dog's rehabilitation as they are generally the biggest problem. =) Most people don't understand the way dog's communicate and often times it's just a couple of little modifications on how you interact with your dog that will make a world of difference.
