Drum Works Lesson Studio is designed to teach every student based on their personality, personal skill level, needs and desires. No student is taught the same. From novice to expert; Drum Works Lesson Studio has what you need. Students receive one on one customized weekly drum lessons where you will learn all styles of drumming such as Latin, Rock, Funk, Trap, Hip Hop, R&B, Fusion, Afro Cuban, Jazz, Prog, Metal and more. Also, Scott will instruct you on how to apply rudiments within the world of music & drumming; as well as how to perform to click tracks/loops and how to play with feel to backing tracks.
With a healthy team of industry sponsors such as Yamaha DTX Drums, PC Audio Labs and more; Drum Works also offers production and drum programming workshops with guest industry professionals. Touching upon hybrid drumming, drum programming, backing tracks and more.
As a working drummer and producer with national recording artist “BREAKERBOX”, as well as working heavily in the Live Event Industry; Scott is always on the cutting edge of technology, hybrid drumming and production offering a unique insight into stage, recording, live performance and the current state of the music industry.

Scott is an excellent drum teacher and engages my son with music that my son likes. He allows my son to be creative and is very encouraging. Scott gives me periodic updates on how my son is progressing as well. My son loves working with him and really looks forward to his lesson each week.

Scotty has been able to keep my seven year old interested in drumming while tricking him into learning at the same time. Having taught various things to young children in the past, I appreciate the difficulty in maintaining a child's focus. Scotty keeps the lessons fun and recognizes what types of music interest my son. Based on those interests, he has also guided my son to other genres that expand his musical experience and expose him to different styles. World beats, classic and modern rock, even some symphonic works (thank you Star Wars) have all been presented. Scotty has done a great job with my son.

Scott has taught my son drums for the last 4 years. Scott was exactly what we were looking for in a drum teacher! He is always patient, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable in teaching my son! My son looks forward to every lesson, and leaves with a bigger smile then when he entered! I have and would recommend Scott to anyone who is looking to take drum lessons. After these four years, I consider Scott a friend and not just a teacher for my son!

Scotty is seriously the best. He's super patient and extremely knowledgeable. He knows so much about music and you can tell he really wants his students to learn and works to help them learn in a way that's easiest for them to understand. I couldn't be happier that we chose Scotty for our son's lessons!
