Sam is very personable and was great at communicating throughout the whole process. He mounted a TV above a fireplace for us, assembled the mount, and set everything up. It was quite the project!

Sam did a great job setting my place up! He is on time, professional, and responsive. His price is also right. May of 2026, Sorted came over to reattach a piece of siding and did a good job. I also asked him to look at a few more projects I needed done and without hesitation he did it, was very helpful in discussing the work to be done and the know how to do it. I will call him again to do my other projects because I believe he will do an excellent job, try him for yourself.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this referral by Thumbtack. He came right in and diagnosed the problem with my file cabinet literally within one minute of arrival and went right to work fixing it to the point where I would be completely satisfied with his work. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a minimum charge of $75 which covers the first hour, regardless of the work. Many of the things I do - such as TV mounting and furniture assembly - have set prices based on the specifics of the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn as much detail as possible about what they want done. Specifically, makes and models of TVs and items to be assembled, details of where the job is being done and their preferred scheduling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in hardwood flooring for a decade and a half. I learned many aspects while doing that as a living. I also worked part time installing TVs and projectors for a small local company for a few years. Everything else I have learned on the job over the decades that I have been that handy, helpful fella.
