- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
concrete is a hands on job as far as learning you cant go to school for concrete finishing its something you just have to experience but theres places to go to get a leg up on other concrete businesses.i have SSI certification im on many of the online lead platforms that do background checks and have certain requirements to get leads from the platform u go through like ANGI homeguide thumbtack those to me are thetop platforms in my eyes i also attend world of concrete every year it allows u to see any and all of the new upcoming tools and applications for finishing and placing concret
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
i started when i was 13 my family ran into hard times and i had no choice but figure out how i could help out so i hit the ground running chose concrete for my profession and here i am 30 years later still enjoying my job and meeting new customers everyday this is my only trade im not one of those jack of all trades guy i focus on one trade and one trade only to insure all my customers a quality job on time and on budget
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
all customers need to make sure they have a legit concrete man or woman as there are a bunch of fly by nighters or weekend warriors as we call them by making sure you have a professional concrete man you will have quality finished product thst will last you years a good way to find out which concrete men are legit just simply call the concrete plants talk to dispatch and simply ask if the company you are planning to use is a good idea or not if they haven't heard of them i would stay away
