I use thumbtack a lot, and I can honestly say this was by far the best experience I’ve had with a vendor to date. First off, Miguel‘s communications are excellent, and well beyond anything I’ve experienced with landscapers and grounds maintenance professionals in the past. Very prompt, very detailed, and great comprehension flowing both ways through the entire process. Even more, the work he did on my 5 acre hillside lot was extraordinary. It’s very steep and wooded around the perimeter and had not been cut over the past year so it had thick 3-foot growth across most of the open pasture. For that, I expected it to look like a mess even after being cut, but Miguel clearly set his mind to making it look like a pristine lawn, as that’s pretty much what I got back! He went the extra mile in so many ways that I felt compelled to write this very long review… and he deserves every word of it. I can tell by his demeanor and kindness that this is who he is, and it wasn’t just a one-off effort to impress a single client. Even the closing process went smoothly, and he was humble and professional through it all. Miguel is truly the BEST of thumbtack! I’ll definitely be back.

Miguel and Tony did an excellent job deinstalling and installing my new front door. They did a craftsman’s style trim work on the exterior of the door and it fits nicely with the rest of the exterior. They also correctly finished some electrical work that I had started but not completed. I will use Miguel and Tony again for future projects.
