Chuck helped my husband and me take control of our fitness and health. We are a married couple in our late 30s. We were out of shape with terribly high cholesterol numbers. We started working with Chuck and have collectively lost over 30 lbs. This has been a slow and steady weight reduction that has turned into a lifestyle change for us which is life changing. My husband is off cholesterol medicine and we feel better than ever. I have definition and tone thanks to Chuck's weight-lifting program. Chuck does a great job of sharing fitness insight peppered with nutrition and health related information. He is courteous and patient. He listens and customizes exercises based on our problem areas that also fit in with his overall plan for us. We have committed ourselves to making better choices for our health and Chuck is one of the best choices we have made.

Chuck is a fantastic personal trainer and motivator. Last August I had some health concerns with my weight and blood. With some personal desire to improve I sought Chuck's help and over the past year I have dropped my cholesterol 200 points and lost about 35 pounds. Through his training he has taught me how to eat and work out smarter and better than ever before... I did not know that he knew so much about nutrition but this has really helped me in cutting out some bad stuff in my diet. I have some more goals that I felt confident Chuck will help me get to in the future!

Chuck is great in keeping me encouraged and motivated in regards of my spiritual, mental and physical wellness. I have been working out with Chuck for 2 months, and I like the fact that I can breath deeper and my joints don't hurt as much as they used to; I am getting stronger. As I am gracefully approaching my Senior years, he is knowledgeable about "stretching" my capabilities without straining my capabilities. I like the casual workout facilities and he is always on time.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    To maintain my fitness certification, continuing education is required. I have already added a certification as a Specialist in Senior Fitness to my general fitness training certification. I also keep up with fitness articles from a variety of sources on a daily basis to remain aware of new fitness and nutrition studies that are published.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Personal training is a second career for me after retiring from corporate life. I chose fitness training because I like helping people improve their quality of life, and I have always enjoyed exercise and nutrition.
