FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is quite the opposite. I do prefer to have a written agreement but the process is very quick, laid back, and adjustable. Since I offer a variety of services my specific rates can be discussed in detail through email, over a coffee, or a brew.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly view other artists work to keep up with what is happening in the art world, and to share my respect of the accomplishments of my fellow artists. There are so many portfolio sites and forms of social media now, so it's very easy to stay connected with popular and unpopular trends. It's also a good way for client's to express what they want. Providing the artist with examples of existing works can speed up the process. Most artists already have a natural style so they will not copy the existing work, but use it as a guide to reach the overall feel of what the client was looking for.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common commissions are logos and branding, caricatures, children's book and other book illustration, and personal illustration or fine art commissions. But I also offer: Banner ads - Event Graphics - Custom Illustrations - Editorial Design & Illustration - Stationary Design - Photo Editing & Manipulation - Character & Concept Design - Sequential Narrative - Hand Lettering - Small Session Photography - and more...
