FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on set fees based off of the scope and size of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial 15 minute call is scheduled to get more details about the project to see if it is a good fit for our firm. If it is then we will do a paid 1 hour consultation on site. After site visit we will put together a project proposal with cost and all services that will be included and go over it with the client and then from there proceed with working together or not. If both parties agree then a deign agreement will be sent to be signed and the initial fee will be billed to start the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute. I am a long time member of ASID and complete continued education every year to not only maintain my professional membership but also to stay on top of changes in the industry. I am working towards my NCIDQ license which I anticipate completing soon (mostly for commercial and hospitality). I have over 16 years of experience spanning working for high-end luxury designers, an architect, two custom builders, and vendor showrooms prior to starting my firm in Lake Tahoe 8 years ago. I am an ASID design judge, have been on professional design panel discussions, I am a contributing writer on interior design topics, and have been featured on a design show. I am also working towards LEED and Well AP accreditations.
