About this pro

How does your business stand out?

When it comes to home purchasing, I know what to look for in building quality, short cuts, and professional craftsmanship. Most of these areas agents do not provide knowledge or expertise. My knowledge eliminates wasted time in he search and provides a more solid foundation in making the right buying decision.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I enjoy being able to help my clients make a quality decision, based upon not what they can afford, but upon what quality product they end up with.

Brian is a fabulous realtor!! I moved to Nashville in the summer of 2014 and was looking to buy my very first home. I got connected with Brian through a friend and I couldn't imagine going through my first house-buying process with anyone else. Brian is very knowledge about all aspects of home-buying, from locations throughout the Nashville area, to the infrastructure of houses, and the ins and outs of bidding. More importantly, you will feel like a friend is helping you find the home for you! Brian listens to want you really want in a home and is committed to making it a reality!! I would recommend Brian to anyone!!

Brian did a great job. He explained the process as we went along, so there were no surprises. Everything he did with and for us was done with honesty and integrity. Once our home was ready for listing and put on the market, it was under contract within a week and sold for a very good price. We could not recommend Brian more highly. We enjoyed working with him, he knows his stuff, no surprises, a great guy who got the job done for us.

Brian was wonderful to work with when buying our new home in Franklin, TN. He went above and beyond in working with our crazy schedule (we have a young child) and helped us close in under a month. As a former contractor, Brian was extremely knowledgable about what to look for in a quality-built home beyond what most real estate agents talk about. I'd absolutely recommend him to other families in the market.

We sold our home in 2015 and we used Brian as our agent. To be candid, just days before closing, the situation began to deteriorate with some odd and unexpected drama completely on behalf of the buyer who contracted to purchase our home. We were totally caught off guard and had never seen anything like that personally, and although relators see drama all the time, it was new to us. The situation eventually resolved itself and the sale went through as we had hoped. Brian was a complete and total champion through it all. He was incredibly thorough, communicated with us very well, and did a super job of forecasting the possibilities as we were dealing with a less-than-cooperative buyer. His knowledge of how to navigate the real estate market, walk us through the title process, and all of the logistical issues in dealing with a stressful real estate close, and subsequent purchase of our new home, really helped ease our stress overall. - Franklin, TN resident

Saw 60+ Houses, Made 5 Offers, 3 Contracts, Inspections and Closed all within 45 days. Brian is a knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and even more importantly, gracious man/agent. With his background in construction he can catch a possible defect; yet also be able to put your mind at ease about any concerns that are not of true concern. Unlike most real estate agents, Brian is willing to think outside the box and consider any creative ideas presented to him when negotiating. Being a single Mother buying my first home after divorce, it was critical that I have an Agent who could hold my hand as well as be my rock; and who I now consider a trusted friend. Whether you know exactly what you want OR have no idea and no parameters, Brian is the guy you want assisting you with your real estate needs. Feel free to email me at should you have further questions about Brian.

Brian helped us find a home in the Franklin, TN area. We had very specific 'wants' in a home, and he found us many options to choose from. Once we narrowed the choice down to the one we wanted, Brian instilled confidence in the fact that the house was of sound structure. Brian was also able to negotiate with the seller to a price that fit our budget. Brian sold our condo in Franklin in 8 days. We are very happy with our new house!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you are looking to market your home, I contract out for 5% total fee, and if I bring the BUYER, you pay only 3% total. BUYERS never pay a fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I am involved in annual trade classes and seminars as well as local and regional meetings and city planning events.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home search Construction over view of homes Over view of problematic craftsmanship of homes Contract negotiations Inspection recommendations to give most thorough results
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do they know what they are selling? Can they help in providing you with more than just showing you a home? Are they authentic in their profession?
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The most important thing is not if I can negotiate, but what do I know about what I am selling. You would agree, agents need to have the skill of negotiating, but many clients never think about whether they know anything about how homes are built and whether their agent can Identify good or bad craftsmanship.
