One of the major things that I do differently than other people in the field is I am willing to show the customer basic things to do to keep the PC or other device running smoothly so that they don't have as many hang ups and become angry with the equipment they have. I will also explain what it is that I'm doing while repairing or upgrading the equipment if the customer has any questions or is just curious about how something works.
