FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2007, I bought my first DSLR and began teaching myself about photography. I began photographing school and work-related events, art photography, portraits, and anything else I could get my hands on. In 2009, I shot my first wedding. Since then I have photographed over 100 weddings and scores of beautiful clients and friends. I love what I do!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly shoot weddings and engagement portraits, but I also love family and senior portraits, event photography, and the occasional photojournalism assignment.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It can be hard to understand why investing in the right photographer is such a hit to your pocketbook. There are a lot of reasons that photography costs what it does - thousands of dollars worth of equipment, insurance, years of training and learning on the job, and 8-12 hours in one day carrying around 30+ pounds of equipment are a few. But really, when you find a photographer that you feel will capture your day in the way you want to remember it, that is an investment that is worth a lifetime.
