- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, our base rate is $30 per hour, but we prefer to quote by the job when practical.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally give the customer the option of providing their own materials. This is done for several reasons; it provides the customer an option to shop around for the lowest prices, it provides them the peace of mind knowing that they are not being overcharged for items they have pre-selected, and it allows the customer the option to change their mind on selections without the fear of having to renegotiate an existing contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended East Tennessee State University in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in engineering with a minor in business. Studied graphic arts, CADD, technical drawing, drafting, construction materials, technical writing, computer science, residential electric, construction estimating, etc. Held Tennessee state general contractor's license from March 2012 thru March 2014.
