Introduction: Hello, and welcome to the Larry Souders Photography at Images & Ivories Studio.. We, my wife and I, are unique to this area in that we offer a separate or combined option for photography and music for most any occasion. Whether you are looking for Wedding, portrait, High School Senior, family, commercial or professionally done head shots, I can provide the images you are looking for. Let me tell your story with the photos we make together.
For the past 28 years, I've worked as a photographer independently and for many different companies. In August of 2013 I opening of my first photo studio. It's called "Larry Souders Photography at Images & Ivories Studios".
Together we have run our studios for 25 years (which also happens to be how long we've been married), and we have separated our studio locations for the first time. This allows me to have a location to do in studio work as opposed to just outdoor location shoots only.
My wife Sandy, the Ivories to my Images, is a teacher of both voice and piano. She has taught privately for almost 35 years. She will continue to teach out of her home studio in our house. She is the pianist of our church Pinecrest Baptist in Johnson City, and she plays for weddings and other events.
Though we live in the Johnson City area, we travel to any destination needed to cover your event. We feel we offer great service either together or separately for a price that can meet almost any budget.

Larry was one of the photographers for my oldest daughter's wedding and many of the shots that HE took, turned out better than those of the other photographer. He definately captured some good memories and intimate moments between the wedding couple, their children, their parents and Grandparents. These pictures will be treasured for many years to come ! Some have been blown up and used in other arenas other than the wall. Scrapbooking, cards, memory pages to share, etc.
Larry was very good in being unobtrusive to the guests and to the other photographer. Each photographer was given their time with the wedding couple & party, the family members and such but Larry was able to mingle and continue finding shots that helped make more memories to enjoy rather than limiting himself to just the "photography time ". He also was very friendly and courteous to all whom he came upon.
Larry has also shared with us, other photos of different elks that he has done and he feels proud of. And justifably so ! His capturing of sceneries and action shots have been truely right on and lovely to behold.

I had my Larry take my daughters senior pictures and they turned out beautiful. He was very friendly and professional, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend.
