We hired C.S. to do some electrical outlet wiring in our kitchen island and pantry. They came on time and were very professional. We liked that they listened to what we needed done and explained how they would do it. The job was completed in good time and we were happy with the results. We asked them to come back for some plumbing work.

JD and Jordan did an amazing job wiring up our basement! They asked questions on how we wanted to use each room and made useful suggestions. They made sure we were informed every step. Hope to do business with them again.
J. D. finished a "small" kitchen repair--quotes added only because even the most minor adjustment can set in motion all sorts of complications, and sometimes can be harder than a bigger job. He replaced a wall that was restricting access to the refrigerator, and replaced it with a beautiful, special-order wood panel. J. D. certainly didn't treat this as a small job, and took special care to finish everything to our satisfaction. He takes his work, and his reputation, very seriously, and works very diligently to make his customers happy. I would recommend Complete Solutions without qualifications.

Hired on Thumbtack
We hired JD and Lynn (Complete Solutions) after getting three bids from Thumbtack. Our relative who has worked as a general contractor was there with us during these meetings, and advised us to hire JD and Lynn even though they were--being perfectly candid--a bit more expensive than the other bids we received. We are glad we did! Below we describe the project, and why we're happy with JD and Lynn.
This was a big project. A complete kitchen renovation to a kitchen that was built in 1987 and never updated. As you can see in the pictures, it was dark and closed off, and they turned three small and closed off rooms into one large and open and very functional kitchen. Here's more about what they did:
They helped us finish up the demolition (we did a lot of it ourselves, but they finished it). They built a new ceiling (raised it), moved water lines, moved electric outlets and switches, built a pantry, installed flooring, installed cabinets, installed dishwasher, installed lighting, installed oven--in short, a complete kitchen renovation. We could go on and on as to why we are glad that we hired them, but here are the highlights: (1) they are very professional from top to bottom, and are there to not just supervise others' work, but do the work themselves with their team; (2) the quality of work and attention to detail are phenomenal; (3) we are new at this, and they worked closely with us to make sure that we got the kitchen we wanted in terms of assisting with design, running to and from Home Depot, Lowe's, Ikea, etc., to make sure we had the materials that would work best for us, etc.; (4) they work hard, frequently staying past usual quitting time; (5) they are trustworthy, which is very important to us; (6) the quality of their work is good, and they will work it until it's right; and (7) it may seem minor until you're in the middle of a major project, but they cleaned up after they were done each day.
Things we learned that we would do differently if we had it to do over again. We would switch up the order in which we did the work (e.g., paint later on rather than first, etc.). We would work with them earlier to figure out what we want and need to try and help the project go more quickly. Along those lines, we would also be aware that sometimes things don't go according to plans (e.g., water lines being more difficult to move then expected), and so being flexible on timing/duration of project is important even if it takes a bit longer than anyone wants in order to make sure it gets done right. Fortunately, ours got done right and we are very happy with our kitchen.
We highly recommend Complete Solutions.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a wide selection of services. Most of the services are custom. Price depends the scope of work involved, the design, the cost of material and the allotted time to complete the job correctly, the first time.
With that said, I know my business and my estimates are fair, reasonable, detailed and I provide a fixed price. The price will not change unless you change the scope of work or add additional work.
I price fairly, perform as agreed and receive calls from prior customers to do additional work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to the client and ask them explain in detail what they want and expect. From their statements, I formulate questions to make sure we understand each other. I ask specific questions, some of which include time frame, scope of work, material selection and more.
I identify what the customer expects. I work to identify all the costs of the project like demo, drywall repair, painting, tiling, countertops, debris removal,,,,this list can get very detailed.
I believe it is important to begin a project with a well informed client. I take the customers vision and offer suggestions and resources to the client to help insure the best outcome and finished project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have construction hands on experience.
I have bought, renovated and sold property. I served as President and C.E.O. of a large medical services company which performed construction services for hospitals and other medical facilities. I enjoy working on home renovations.
I make sure each customer receives personal attention during the project, and is kept aware and involved in the project.
It is most important to me that clients are proud, pleased and happy with the completed project. Personal referrals and friendship are an important part of my business.
