- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to “get to know” the customer before I look at their options. I like to ask them about things they have seen before and what they like and try to compare them to past customers that seem to be similar in that aspect. You have to build a personal relationship with a customer before you can build/customize their “home.” Anyone can build you a house - but I feel as if you need to know your customer in order to build them a “home”
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was once told by my grandpa a long time ago, when I was around 12 - “If you try and learn something from someone in each craft you come across in this business, you will be very well rounded by the time you are 50.”
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work with my dad when I was just old enough to remember things. I’ve always been fond of this type of work
