Mike and Matthew from Olympix- Elite Moving Services were very professional. They were willing to work on a federal holiday and on short notice. Arrival was on time and the move was efficient and inexpensive. The value-added services Mike and Matthew offered was installing and connecting large appliances. I am recommending them if you need and moving related services.
Needed to move on short notice. They did great in not damaging any furniture, walls, belongings. We moved most of our belongings that we were able to box up, but due to shoulder trouble needed help with 2 person items, dressers, beds, tables etc. was told we'd get a 17' truck (possibly 20' as one client was wavering) ... I knew we'd need 2 trips, but with everything ready to go I knew it'd get done in a speedy manner. Well we ended up with a tiny 14' truck (if that big) and it took MULTIPLE trips and lots of rearranging. It ran into way more time than it should have. I contacted Mr Terry and he agreed to adjust the bill to reflect the proper time it should have taken had we gotten the bigger truck. There were a few rough situations amongst the movers that definitely affected the communication and caused grumbling. It was close to 100* so I tried to keep them hydrated and due to them squeezing me in the schedule I was very appreciative of the hard work they did and the speed of unpacking and putting items in the proper rooms etc. also, yes they took breaks, we all do when we work, physical work is hard. They took 2 15 min breaks and we treated them to lunch. I also tipped them. I don't think people understand a lot of the pricing of a move goes to the company for insurance, paying employees etc, but when they bust their butts and sweat is dripping, they deserve a tip.. Hope anyone who uses any moving company keeps that in mind.
My husband and I hired All-American Moving to unpack our truck into our new apartment. They did a wonderful job - were very nice, worked quickly, and took care of our things. I will definitely use them again in the future if we have another move and would recommend to everyone!
We met with Libbie and her assistant for a walk through. Libbie first showed us the business license, insurance, and background check which was absolutely reassuring. Libbie knows her products, has helpful checklists so there is no question what will be done in the home, and she's easy to communicate with both before she arrives, during the walk through, and after she does the clean. We didn't have appliances in yet but our bathrooms, floors, cabinets, and drawers were all spotless. We had a new house with some construction dust here and there. She did a great job getting the crevices and ensuring the surfaces were clean, and that the place smelled and looked great. We plan to continue to use Libbie on a more regular basis once we get these boxes unpacked and can see our beautiful floors again!
Shelly is a wonderful organizer with very creative ideas. We moved to a new home this last September and I was overwhelmed with all the sentimental things I had accumulated over the years. I did not know how to best display them. Shelly asked me a few questions, unpacked everything in a staging area and then just put little stories together throughout the house. She is professional, courteous and a very hard worker. Shelly did more in one week than I could have done in a month. I appreciate everything she did for me and she made my new home warm and comfortable for my husband and me.
