FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing structure for capturing video and editing relies mainly on the source video footage amount. Typically recording video would range from $200-$400 depending on what type of video that is being gathered. Editing video footage depends on how many transitions and how much graphic animation/text would be involved. It takes roughly 10-15 hours to edit 1 hour of source footage. Rates for editing would start around $350 at 1 hour source footage minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are endless amounts of additions and adjustment when creating videos or initigrating equipment in a facility. Having a better understanding of the clients vision will allow a base price then after adjustments are made, future additions or adjustment are billed in addition. Understanding and communicating what will be done in the beginning is the first step.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There has been no educational studies in this line of work. Experience has always been the greater of the two. On the job training is by far the best. Successfully building a broadcast studio for live TV, a mobile live TV setup, and producing multiple promotional videos for music artist, organizations and event highlights were the training.
