- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Forty-five minutes is my lesson time @ $25.00. I offer "Cheat Sheets" on where you are in learning. (Home Work) I can be contacted with calls or with email for questions, time allowing. I will tell you where to do your own research for where you are also. (Good question for emails)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Basically I start with explaining the various parts of the instrument. Show how to tune to 440 concert pitch.Then go over the 1st position Major Chords at the nut. Answering questions at any time asked. Show a song structure used with most all blues/rock songs. Discuss strumming the guitar. I allow student to take us from there & what do they want to learn.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 40+ years playing the guitar as a serious hobby. I have played in Jam Sessions with other instruments playing i.e. bass, guitars, drums, keyboards & harmonicas. I started at 9 with Country as my Dad played that. At 14, I wanted to play Hard Rock so learned that. Later I studied Blues guitar and I am doing that now even. You never really stop learning. (or I don't)
