- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It is my plan to attend North Carolina School of the Arts and finish out my college with a degree in make-up/wig design. I also hope to one day work for Walt Disney World and do their make-up, but I am currently seeking professions that allow me to build my skills.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent theatrical endeavor was Young Frankenstein at Theatre Memphis. I was in charge of creating "The Monster". He needed to be funny but still intimidating and slightly scary in the right light. After several long days of trying to perfect the make-up, we finally hit a home run and produced an amazing looking monster. The make-up has put me up for a nomination for the Ostrander awards, a community theater version of the Tony's.
