- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the scope of work and expectations are clear, we usually provide estimates. But, if the customer prefers that we work by the hour, we work in 1/4 hourly wage increments, e.g. 70 minutes will be charged at 1.25 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial communication to figure out scope of work and expectations 2. Occasionally work on a design with the home owner 3. Cost calculations and estimate, communication on details with the customer 4. Complete the Scope of Work. 5. Post-completion communication with the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Plenty of experience working on my own houses, and helping friends and family for pretty much my entire life. Continuing education is a daily habit of mine, whether that’s a podcast helping to perfect my business, reading articles and books or watching educational videos.
