Thank you, Nancy, for your kind review of Luis and his team! We strive for exceptional experiences; I am glad you received one! God bless you and your family!
CertaPro Painters is a professional business that has great service and end results. I have known and worked with Chip for some time now, and would HIGHLY recommend CertaPro of Bartlett for all of your painting needs.Jan 29, 2020Review from Google
I can't say enough lovely things about CertaPro Bartlett. This is the second project we've had CertaPro work on and their work is perfect. Chip and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. They listen to what you want and develop a plan/strategy perfectly tailored to your needs. If you were hesitating about hiring a company to paint, stop hesitating and work with CertaPro. You won't be sorry!Jan 27, 2020Review from GoogleCertaPro Painters of Bartlett's reply
Lindsey, thank you so much for your kind words! I am glad that we met your expectations! God bless!
Chip, the franchise owner was very professional when he worked up the proposal and although I thought they were a little high I decided to hire them. They gave me a start date and I thought we were all set, but the crew showed up unannounced two days early. I had a couple of things to do to get ready for them to paint and I didn't have time to get those done. The contract stated two coats of paint would be applied and I don't think there could have with only two workers here. They finished the work in 9-10 hours and I kept asking if they were applying two coats. They stated they were, but I have found several spots where the old paint showed through brush strokes in the new paint. Two coats would have covered most spots if only by accident. I believe they brought 6 gallons of paint and left about 2 and a half which I thought was a lot of overage. They were supposed to replace some rotted boards behind the gutters which I discovered were not replaced, but they were later patched. The contract stated that I would get a final walkthrough with the franchise owner or supervisor. It was getting dark so neither of them were here when the crew finished and they wanted me to sign off on my satisfaction. I signed it and noted the stipulation that I reserved the right to view the work in full daylight. After seeing it in the daylight I found more things and continue to find things even now. After the contract was signed, some things just didn't feel right. The communication from them was terrible and I don't feel the quality of the work was up to par. I don't think that they were aware that I have some experience in the hardware/construction and coatings business. I sold and was regional manager for a roof coatings company and inspected many job sites for years where our products were being blamed for poor results. I learned what to look for and what questions to ask of the contractors; sometimes going as far as calling the National Weather Service and local radio stations to get weather conditions during the application of our products.I feel for Chip, but his workers and his office didn't perform very well as other reviews had indicated. Based on that, I cannot honestly give them a high rating.Nov 25, 2019Review from GoogleCertaPro Painters of Bartlett's reply
Mr. Hodges, I appreciate your honesty and transparency in your critiques of our team's performance on your painting project. Your detailed review has already helped me to improve some of our processes internally; we try to take all feedback, but positive and negative, into consideration as we work to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers. Your detailed observations, especially given your background in hardware, construction and roofing (which we discussed in detail at the time of your estimate), are well-received. There are certainly no excuses for the things that went less than perfectly, both on and off your job site. Ultimately, as the leader of our business, I am responsible for the things my folks do or fail to do. I will, however, offer some explanation. As we discussed at the end of your project, both my Office Associate and my Job Site Supervisor were new (both less than two weeks) to CertaPro, and to my franchise; given her lack of experience, I judged that Shelby, my OA, adapted well to the challenges of her first full week in role assisting me in managing production as well as in handling administrative duties. She has already gotten better, in part because of her experience on your project. Luis and his crew, being new to the CertaPro system, did not understand fully the standards to which I hold my crews. There were aspects of the construction of your home, specifically the attachment of the gutters to the fascia of your home, that drove some of his decisions about repairs. As for the way the crew departed your home, that was a definite "miss" on our part, and I apologize for the confusion. I can tell you that other reviews of their work (on Google) demonstrate that they have gotten better. You and I had a chance to walk your home within a couple of days after the team departed; we also identified items that needed to be rectified. I am aware that at least some of those items were corrected, but, in accordance with our Two-Year Limited Warranty, if there are still areas of your home you feel do not meet your standard of work (for example, the areas where you noted uneven coverage), we will return to correct them, at no charge, until you are completely satisfied with the outcome of your project. My OA will call you this morning to discuss the timing of said remediation. Please let her know your availability for a warranty visit, so that we can work on the corrections. We look forward to earning a revision of your review; take care, and God bless!
The folks at this franchise were very helpful. Chip Jones was on time and very pleasant and easy to deal with, and gave a fair estimate. The crew that I dealt with were also on time, very nice, professional and did a good repair job for my purposes. I have added them to my contact list for future needs. Thanks guys:)Nov 15, 2019Review from GoogleCertaPro Painters of Bartlett's reply
