Denise was awesome from start to finish, and even after the job was done. When searching for trainers, She immediately contacted me, gave her credentials and asked me to consider her. At the time, I had reached out to another trainer and waiting on a response and was going to contact Denise next, but in the interim Denise contacted me which I’m glad she did. On our initial conversation, I spoke to her for almost an hour. She was very thorough in explaining her background, gave me training videos that coincided with what she was explaining about dogs and their training, mindset, etc. She made sure I had a complete understanding of how training works and how her background and work history put her in the position to accomplish what I needed done with my dog. I knew from that conversation that she was the one but wanted to discuss with husband. I called her the next day and hired her, and the rest was history. We agreed on3 day in home training because based on every issue that I had with my dog, she was confident that she could fix it in that time. She came did a meet and greet consultation and my dog clung to her quickly. She even did a quick demo of training him which he cooperated. My dogs have never been away from me. I’ve never even left them at boarding because I’m so protective of them but it was something about Denise that made me comfortable, so he was off to her home that night. Denise shared videos and pictures with me throughout the time she had him and showed her training him and his interactions with her dog. He was a completely different dog after day one!!! I had a few small things I needed training for, such as running out the door when opened, jumping on guests, etc but my biggest need and what prompted my call to trainers was potty training/marking around my home. I wasn’t sure how she’d accomplish that and honestly had reservations on her being able to do this but given that she’d been working with dogs since 16, I was willing to see. Fast forward to the end of the 3 days and he came home. My dog was completely different dog, very well behaved, no jumping, staying in place, not running out the door, staying in his crate, and NO MARKING!!! I’ve spent almost a year of frustration and Denise fixed it in 3 days!!! To top it off, my husband was so impressed that as soon as she dropped off my dog, he sent his dog home with her that same day lol. I’ve been so pleased since my dog returned and Denise has checked on him even after training was finished. She definitely completed the tasks and went above my expectations. I highly recommend Denise!
