- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am straightforward. No hidden fees or complicated explanations. I urge all my clients if they have question to just ask. I want to make sure that we are on the same page that you and I understand one another fully on all aspects. I do have set packages, but most of the time I can quote you for your specific needs. I do my pricing simply. I add up the hours and the time in post. After that any special things have a standard price that simply is added to the hours I am shooting and post processing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fist we email. This helps us to introduce ourselves and I can get a feel for what they want in a photographer and they can get a feel for what I want in a client. If we are on the same page we do a meet to get the deposit and see if our personalities mesh. From there it will be fine tuning and wedding day!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always continuing my education. I recently took a boot camp from Jasmine Star and a forum from Sue Bryce. I work closely with other professionals in Memphis. Learning from each other and pushing each other to continue to grow. I teach classes and am taking advanced post processing class. I have been mentored by a well known photographer and currently am learning different types of photography to give a new perspective to my clients.
