FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straightforward and transparent. Handyman services are billed at $125 for the first hour, with additional hours charged at $95 per hour. For larger handyman jobs, we offer a discounted full-day rate of $710 for up to 8 hours on site. Materials that we source and purchase on your behalf are billed at cost plus 30%, which covers procurement, transportation, and full warranty responsibility. No materials are purchased without the client’s prior approval. This approach ensures fair pricing, clear expectations, and accountability for both workmanship and materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make working with us simple and straightforward. New clients begin with an initial conversation to discuss the scope of work, priorities, and timeline. Some smaller or well-defined jobs can be quoted online using photos and dimensions. For other projects, an in-person site visit is necessary, as certain conditions can only be identified once we see the job firsthand. Hidden issues, existing construction, or prior repairs may affect the scope, time, or materials required. Before any work begins, we provide clear recommendations and pricing. If unforeseen work is discovered during the job, we communicate it promptly, explain the options, and proceed only with the client’s approval. Once approved, we schedule the work, arrive prepared, and complete the job efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring everything meets expectations before closeout.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are fully certified to install and service the products we work with. We are a Certified Renewal by Andersen® window installer, a Certified ProVia® door installer, and a Certified Jacuzzi® bath installer, ensuring manufacturer-approved installation that meets warranty and performance standards. We are also a Certified Lead-Safe Renovator, qualified to safely work in homes where lead-based paint may be present, with proper procedures to protect occupants and the work environment.
