Jack of All Trades did an amazing job with the work they did in our home. They tiled multiple areas(including kitchen back-splash), installed hardwood flooring, painted kitchen cabinets, including new doors. They also painted rooms, shutters and exterior door and installed a window. These jobs were done with the utmost professionalism and work quality. Jack of All Trades consulted us on any issues, or questions regarding the job. We would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use their services again!

Great work on the dining room with the removal of wall paper trim, and painting the walls and trim. Very honest and hard worker and cleaned up everything very well when done. Will definitely be using this service again soon for other work in the house.

Shawn did an excellent job of painting and installing about 500 linear feet of trim in my condo. He was flexible on time while we were finishing sections ahead of where he would be installing, and he took the time to make sure we were happy with the finished work. I will definitely hire him future projects.

I found Andrew here on Thumbtack as well as interviewed a few others to do my tile backsplash in my kitchen. I always look for a professional with a good working relationship (verbal, on time, good communication, interaction with family members, etc). Andrew exemplified all of these qualities and then there was the actual work! He did an amazing job on our tile backsplash install in our kitchen. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I would hire him again!

David Binder can do it all -- construction, repairs, lighting, electrical, flooring, you name it. We hired David to install a new floor in our den, install new lighting fixtures and "under the counter" lighting in our kitchen, create a closet and install new exterior / interior wall covering where a window unity had been located. David did outstanding work in all areas. He is especially gifted with floor transitions from room to room and excels in his work. We were impressed with his thorough communication, reasonable costs, and attention to details. We will definitely have David come back for more projects in the near future. No doubt, he is the best handyman we have ever hired in our 27 years of home ownership!

If you are looking for a local, trustworthy professional in the Middle Tennessee area, call Jeff. He was quick to estimate, begin work, and finish the project. We were able to complete our tile project in the kitchen within our budget. The floors, trim, and finish look awesome. Couldn't be happier. Jeff proved his determination working through the weekend even on the holidays. We are so happy to have our kitchen tiled and plan to enjoy it for years to come. A hidden gem in the Spring Hill area.

Barton helped me mount some 2x4's in my attic in the entry space so I could hang some items from there. He was there about an hour. He was extremely friendly and professional. He was on-time, which was refreshing. Some of the trim came loose while he was working, but was able to repair and make it look exactly as it had before. There was nothing I would have changed and I will only be using him in the future.

I hired Bryan Hayes, sole proprietor of AAA Handyman Services, to reinstall my microwave oven after my kitchen had been remodeled. During the remodel, I had lost the installation template. This was a major problem for me, but not for Bryan Hayes. Bryan was careful in his measurements, precise in his drilling of my new cabinetry, kind, professional, and efficient. His price was more than fair for the job. His card states, "Small Jobs, Remodeling, Jack of all Trades." Judging by what he did for me and how he did it, I'd say the card is a very fair representation of this man and his work.

My brother came in from out of town to install laminate hard wood floors in my house, but he didn't have time to complete the project with the quarter round along the baseboards. I searched on Thumbtack for a handyman who could provide the service, and David’s quote was by far the best value. He even volunteered to paint the quarter round AND baseboards at no additional cost, because he wanted them to look nice and fresh! His response was quick, and his availability was very timely. David and his two sons came to my house early in the morning, enabling us to meet face-to-face before I had to leave for work. He insisted on our meeting to make sure that I was comfortable with him in my home, which I greatly appreciated it. All three gentlemen were very polite, respectful, and courteous. I have a small dog at home, and they even kindly interacted with him in my absence and catered to his doggy needs (going outside on occasion to either potty or escape the construction sounds). Communication with David was quick and convenient. We interacted via phone and text in addition to our meeting in person, and he was always readily available. He notified me when they were completed, updated me on my pup, and locked up the house as we had previously arranged. I am more than pleased with the final results. I would certainly consider the work professionally done. The quarter round is consistent and even, and the transitions are seamless. The paint has great coverage, and the edging is straight as an arrow. I could tell that he took meticulous care to not drip any on my new floors, which is a feat, since he was literally trimming directly next to them. Since I didn’t know what I was doing, I did not account for 10% overage in my material purchase. Even though he did what he could to minimize waste, I did not provide enough quarter round to complete the job. As a result, he wisely arranged the pieces to miss the areas that made the most sense – behind the stove in my kitchen, since it is not visible, and under my three exterior doors. While I am disappointed that the project isn’t 100% complete and wish I had known/thought to account for overage, I can’t hold that against him. When we discussed the final project over the phone later that evening, he was more than willing to come back out and complete the project at my earliest convenience. Furthermore, he was even willing to kindly walk me through the task with experienced suggestions and guidance to allow me to complete the DIY project on my own in order save some money. He certainly did not have to take the time to teach me a skill that would essentially take him out of a job, but he understood my desire to simply do it myself, and he answered all of my questions with confidence and patience. Overall, I’m thrilled with the service that David and Sons provided. They were honest, dependable, respectful and skillful. The final result is beautiful, and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend hiring them for your next project.
