Fantastic job from top to bottom. The photos turned out really beautifully using Robinson's unique fusion method. This was a challenging job for several reasons, and he went above and beyond for us - even getting his hands dirty. I enjoyed the challenge that was given to me. They were facing some difficulties that I was able to resolve for them. This is the kind of client we all dream of serving.
Our corporate office was scouting photographers for an upcoming project, and was sent a rude and unprofessional message from this photographer scolding us for not responding to his quote within 24 hrs of receiving it, stating "I wrote you guys off because you did not have the professional courtesy to respond back." Even later sent a message mocking our response to that message. Customer service and professional communication are crucial factors to me, as well as basic respect. Dear Ms. Calli, this is not personal at all, this is just business. Do not get me wrong but I work under a very tight schedule and was never my intention to offend or be rude. I waited for several days and never got a feedback, so I had to fit other clients in order to catch up with my business. I am truly sorry and I hope you can still get the job done. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?No my system is straight forward. It's based on experience and degree of difficulty after doing the initial consult with a prospective client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A lot of questions. Sometimes a site visit. I try to do this the way a tailor or seamstress would make a custom fit garment. Made exactly for that client in mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As much as possible. On line forums, courses and reading. Plus big exchange with other photographers.
