Josh was great! I don't know much about computers, but I do know my HP Personal Computer that I run my own business from was messed up really bad and full of viruses and it wasn't working and I was unable to access things that were very vital to me for a little over a week and I was in panic mode! I had one supposed computer expert that a friend told me about come over and look at it and he told me that it was a major issue and said my best bet would be to get another computer. I was devastated! A LOT of major and extremely important information was now gone forever. My wife the next day suggested that I try Thumbtack to get a second opinion before I gave up completely because one of her work buddies hired someone off of it to fix her computer. So I gave it a shot. I got 5 bids and I had to pick one and I guess it was just the way he presented himself in the bid he gave me , he seemed very professional and trustworthy right from the start. When I met him the next day he agreed to meet me at my house at 7:00 p.m. and he arrived when he said he would. He was very respectful. He is really fun to talk to also which is great in easing the tension of having a stranger in my house and giving him full access to all of my information. The coolest thing he did while he was there was when my wife got home she came in saying that her phone was broken and she needed to get it replaced before work in the morning. So she sat there and started explaining what happened to it and when she was done I started reaching in my pocket so I could start counting out hundreds of dollars he walked in the room and said he overheard my wife talking and asked if he could see her phone for a second and I really have no idea what he did but he fixed it and actually saved me a lot of money. I asked him how much I owed him for the phone repair and he said free of charge because it wasn't that big of a problem and I was sitting there ready to pay him a hundred if he asked for it with a smile on my face.He then told me he was done fixing my computer so I run in there to check it out and it's running better then it has in a while now! He then suggested that I set it up to where if something like this happened again and he was unable to fix it all of my important files are protected. I asked if he could do that and he said he could so I scheduled him for the next week. He came by and set everything up and I feel a lot better now. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. Josh Stepp is the best in my book when it comes to TV repair. When my LG HDTV started having issues powering on, I called several shops in the area, including the one recommended by LG customer service. They were all significantly pricier than Josh Stepp. When I called Josh, he sounded very friendly. I gave him my TV's model number a brief summary of the problem and he immediately gave me an estimate. No "Diagnostic fee, service call fee, parts fee, then he can tell you what the job will cost..." Just a straight up estimate. Josh valued my time as well. After I made an appointment, I got a specific time, not a 4-5 hour window when he might show up. I also got an update phone call on the day of the appointment to let me know when he would arrive. Josh was friendly and professional, & got right to work when he arrived at my house. He explained everything he was doing (in terms I could understand) while he was doing it. And to top it off, the work came in under the estimate. Thank you again Josh. I will be referring you to all my friends/family for future services.
