We are made up of a group of bartenders who have mainly worked in event settings. We have worked at LP field during fan fair, TPAC, and Bridgestone arena. We are experts at preparing for smooth events and we all enjoy the art of mixing good drinks. I love the people I get to meet. I love helping a bride plan their event and helping them learn of different ways to make their party stand out. I love making a great cocktail and improving on my technique.

Sarah and her fiance were hired as bartenders for my wedding in southern Kentucky. I knew from the first moment after speaking with Sarah that she would make sure my wedding guests had a great time. She lived up to that impression! Many of my guests commented on how fun and approachable Sarah was. She kept the party going and the drinks flowing - for which I am extremely grateful.

Sarah was the bartender for our wedding. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. She answered all of our questions and even was so detailed that she made us think of questions that we hadn't even though about. She made the best drinks that our guests are still speaking of! We loved the idea of having all of our drinks named after us and our nicknames. She was definitely the best person for the job!!! We loved her soon much! You won't go wrong with her at all!

Working with Sarah and Smedevents was fantastic. She was absolutely professional and helpful in every way. Not only did she remember what guests had been drinking and offer them a second drink by name, she helped with everything. She even jumped in to help with the decorations without being asked. Great person and great company. I will be hiring Smedevents for all future events.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been bartending since 2009! Most of my staff has been bartending a minimum of 2 years
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is SO important to have a bartender who works with events regularly so they can make sure you are fully prepared for your event. You would hate to hire someone who doesn't know when to start making sure things are iced down or someone who can't handle the flow of a wedding.
