Introduction: I have been a Certified Dog Trainer now for 14 years. My focus is and remains assisting Pet Parents with their Canine Children so that there is a positive relationship between both. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2007 and originally did group and individual lessons, but had found individual lessons, in the home of dog and pet parent actually was more effective. Many people have the concept that "Obedience Training" is teaching their pooch how to "behave". While that is partially correct, I am under the firm belief that training is actually fostering the relationship between the dog and their "humans", creating a loving bond where the dog "behaves" because they really are connected and want to "please" their humans. Positive Behavior Modification Techniques are the basis for all training I provide. I strive to strengthen that bond with the ultimate goal of the dog becoming a "Good Canine Citizen". I also strive to keep costs down for pet parents so they can use the money for their dog's care not me so I do not require a minimum number of lessons and I provide all training materials and written lesson plans as part of the package. About 95% of my clients report results in one lesson (approx. 2 hours) . My lessons are interactive, fun for both human and dog. New achievement,😁 Awarded Mentor Status from Animal Behavior College now a recognized Preceptor/Mentor for students completing the program

Dog Training

Within 3-4 minutes of working with my dog she was obeying sit command and she was actually listening to the trainer. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised.

Dog Training

I am very pleased with the training provided by Sandy. She taught us how to train our puppy and he is following the commands now. I’ll definitely recommend her to others needing dog training.

Dog Training

When Sandy left after our training session I felt empowered. I felt like what seemed overwhelming before was really quite simple. She showed me how to work with my dog in ways that will help her and not be overly time consuming for me either. We worked on her chewing, jumping, dominance, lack of focus and leash skills. My sweet (big) puppy is going to be just fine. I just needed to know how to work with her. Super grateful.

Dog Training

I thought she was knowledgeable about dogs. She showed us training tips to keep working on. The collars she recommended for walking the dogs is helping with control.

Dog Training

Wonderful and very caring. I absolutely loved her. She was very knowledgeable about my dog and his breed. Sandy took time to sit down and tell me what I needed to do to help boost his confidence. The training was more for me being a first time dog owner. She was punctual and very friendly. She clearly cared about what she does and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
