Great company to work with. They installed the two doors exactly when they said they would and at the cost they quoted. Love the new doors and love that I didn't have to do a thing! Highly Recommend!

I called Garageworks to fix my garage doors that had not been working for a few weeks and I couldnt figure out why. They were here in less than 24 hours and fixed the doors immediately. I was blown away by the quick service, politeness and great quality work. The technician knew the problem immediately and applied a fix. I could not be more happy with my experience with Garageworks. Especially in todays world. If you want a no-nonsense, quality, positive experience call them!!! Dont take your chances elsewhere.

GarageWorks quoted one price, performed a great repair, gave an invoice for another price, then tried to fight me on why there was a difference. My money was refunded, after considerable debate. I have uploaded copies of my correspondence with GarageWorks (summarized below) here: http://i.imgur.com/WkOLD7f.png 4 stars for repair, 0 stars for customer service. I was told that the quote was $75 for a service call. When I inquired whether they could repair 2 doors, there was just a response that they could be out soon. I perhaps incorrectly assumed that a service call would cover whatever service would be done during their time out their plus any parts. The repair individual serviced both garage doors, which were no longer adjusted correctly for the weight of the doors. When I received the invoice, it stated a charge of $110 for a service call. I asked the individual who sent the invoice (the same person who did the repair, not the same as the individual I communicated with on Thumbtack) why the price discrepancy between my quote and the invoice, I was told that the charge was $55 per door, which had been discounted from normal prices. When I asked about the quote again, I did not get a response rapidly and had to follow up. I then was told he was not aware of the Thumbtack quote and he could ask his partner about the quote. I would have thought my repeated request for detail would have necessitated the two of them talking. When I then turned to my Thumbtack contact, I was told he would have to speak to his partner about what work was done. This took time as they could not reach each other. When we spoke on the phone, I was told I should be happy that the price wasn't higher. When I quoted the Thumbtack quote for a "service call" versus the bill that said "service call", I was told that other providers would have been more expensive. Again, the service was good, but to say that a service call is $75, then deliver a bill for a service call at a different price, then tell me it was discounted based on per door repair, then tell me I should be happy is poor customer service. In the end GarageWorks refunded the $35 difference, but I am not sure I would use them again.
